Developing skills and improving career pathways

This project was funded by the Commonwealth Government in the 2013 WELL resource project funding round.

Informal Learning has been widely recognised as a key method for skills acquisition in the workplace. This project is about developing a systematic way in which we can recognise and document language, literacy and numeracy acquisition and skills in workplace tasks.

Recognising LLN skills embedded in workplace tasks will enable us to target our teaching to the specific LLN skills required in individual workplaces.

The project comprises the development of four key teaching and learning resources. These are:
